To Cuyahoga County Council for putting forth legislation that will allow Domestic Partnership Benefits for County employees. I recently attended committee hearing on this legislation, I remember texting someone close to me that EVERY MEMBER OF THE LGBT COMMUNITY should hear the hate we fight against. To everyone who signed a petition to put HB 194 on the ballot to be voted on by the people of Ohio. Our republican controlled government in this state appear to govern for the benefit of their political party and NOT THE PEOPLE! It seems that they pass legislation without any concern about how it effects the people. A special shout out to Congresswoman Marcia Fudge for her leadership on this issue!
